No permission to download
Device & Technical Information:

  • Device Model: Samsung Galaxy A17 5G (SM-A176B / SM-A176E / SM-A1760)
  • Chipset / Platform: Samsung Exynos 1330 (5nm)
  • Storage Interface: UFS
  • Operating System: Android 15 (One UI 7 / 7.x)
  • Target Recovery: TeamWin Recovery Project (TWRP) Custom Recovery
  • Status: Tested & Working on Bootloader-Unlocked Units

Prerequisites & Important Warnings

  • Bootloader Unlock: Bootloader must be completely unlocked via OEM Unlocking and Device Unlock Mode.
  • Knox Trip Warning: Flashing custom binaries permanently trips the Knox warranty bit (<span>0x1</span>), disabling Knox-dependent features (Samsung Pass, Secure Folder, Samsung Wallet/Pay).
  • Data Loss: Bootloader unlocking and data formatting wipe all user data. Back up all personal files beforehand.
  • Required Files & Tools:
    • Odin3 (v3.14.4 or latest).
    • Official Samsung Mobile USB Drivers installed on PC.
    • Verified twrp-a17x-exynos1330.tar file.
    • vbmeta_disabled.tar to bypass Android Verified Boot (AVB).
    • Multidisabler / Magisk ZIP file to prevent dynamic filesystem encryption and stock recovery restoration.

Step-by-Step Installation Instructions (Nasıl Yüklenir?)

Step 1: Unlock Bootloader

  1. Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Information and tap Build Number 7 times to enable Developer Options.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Developer Options and enable both OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging.
  3. Power off the phone completely.
  4. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down simultaneously, then connect the phone to your PC via a USB cable.
  5. On the warning screen, long-press Volume Up to access Device Unlock Mode. Confirm the unlock (this wipes all user data and restarts the phone).
  6. Complete basic initial setup, connect to Wi-Fi, and confirm in Developer Options that OEM Unlock is greyed out and reads "Bootloader already unlocked."

Step 2: Boot into Samsung Download Mode

  1. Power off the device completely.
  2. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down together while connecting the USB cable to your PC.
  3. Press Volume Up once briefly to enter Download Mode (Odin Mode).

Step 3: Flash TWRP & Patched VBMeta via Odin

  1. Open Odin3 as Administrator on your PC. The ID:COM box will turn light blue.
  2. In the USERDATA slot, select vbmeta_disabled.tar.
  3. In the AP slot, select your twrp.tar file.
  4. Go to the Options tab in Odin:
    • Keep F. Reset Time checked.
    • Uncheck Auto Reboot (Essential: Prevents One UI from automatically restoring the stock recovery on the first reboot).
  5. Click Start to flash and wait for Odin to display the green PASS! status.

Step 4: First Boot into TWRP & Disable Encryption

  1. Unplug the USB cable.
  2. Force restart the device by holding Volume Down + Power.
  3. The exact instant the screen goes completely black, immediately switch fingers and hold Volume Up + Power (keep connected to PC if your One UI version requires a USB handshake to trigger recovery).
  4. Release the buttons once the TWRP splash screen appears.
  5. Inside TWRP:
    • Go to Wipe > Format Data, type yes, and confirm (clears dynamic file-based encryption).
    • Go to Reboot > Recovery to remount partitions cleanly.
    • Flash Magisk.zip or a multidisabler zip via Install to maintain root privileges and prevent stock recovery overwrite.
  6. Select Reboot > System.
